From Japan to the US

World Nutrition’s journey began on an ordinary day in Japan. It was 1996, and our founder, Mr. Hirooka, had just been prescribed enzyme therapy for the first time. This was the latest in a long list of possible treatments for the joint pain he suffered – a long list which had so far been completely ineffective. Naturally, he didn’t expect much. But somehow, these all-natural proteolytic enzymes accomplished what countless other proposed remedies could not – they effectively eased his discomfort. And it is at that moment that our founder made it his mission to help others experience such amazing healing benefits themselves.

Business man by day, healer and researcher by night, he hoped to unlock the healing power of the ancient medicinal herbs that he knew so well.

Inspired by decades of clinical studies, Mr. Hirooka hired the most elite team of scientists and medical researchers, and combined a proprietary blend of systemic enzyme complexes with other natural ingredients.

Four years and countless experiments later, World Nutrition was born – and Mr. Hirooka’s health completely restored. With a singular, important objective in mind, he set out to combat a variety of health issues by first addressing the root cause of the problem.

World Nutrition has exemplified Japanese culture through their desire for perfection and attention to detail in manufacturing processes. Their dietary supplements were produced locally in 150,000 sq. foot manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ until 2004. World Nutrition became one of the first nutraceutical manufacturers in the United States to introduce a plant based systemic enzyme supplement. The fragile nature of systemic enzyme blends makes them require high tech equipment and extreme quality control. In order to provide the most consistent, high quality enzyme products in the market, their manufacturing was moved to their state-of-the-art facility in Japan.

Quality control requirements of a licensed manufacturing facility in Japan are considered the most hygienic of any industry. Extreme measures are taken to avoid any possibility of contamination. Precautions include clean rooms, dust particle control, and sophisticated air filtration systems. During frequent site facility inspections, the government inspects all laboratory equipment and safety measures. Each inspection must be passed in order to retain the export licensure. ( See Manufacturing. ) These Japanese manufacturing guidelines unique to the manufacturing of Vitalzym ensure that each and every capsule is of the utmost purity, potency and safety.
